Ms. Vedra is the Chief Financial Officer and Partner at Factor Strategic Partners (“FACTOR”) and is responsible for leading all financial operations of the firm, overseeing the development and management of its platform infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless integration of financial systems to support the firm’s strategic growth.

With nearly 20 years of industry experience, her areas of expertise include financial reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, investor reporting, corporate profitability analysis, and long-term strategic planning.

Prior to joining FACTOR, Ms. Vedra was the Chief Financial Officer at Excellere, a Denver-based middle market private equity firm, where she was responsible for overseeing all financial and operational aspects of the firm. While at Excellere, Ms. Vedra focused on improving the financial operations and efficiencies within the firm, including streamlining processes for financial reporting, institutional investor reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory compliance, improving workflows with the outsourced fund administrator, and improving administrative procedures within the firm.

Before joining Excellere, Ms. Vedra spent 10 years at Ascentris, a Denver-based real estate private equity firm, where she held various leadership positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Partner. During her tenure, she played a key role in enabling the firm to attract and manage institutional capital through her involvement with financial management, investor reporting, and strategic initiatives that contributed to the firm’s growth and operational efficiency. Notably, Ms. Vedra created all financial reporting and institutional investor reporting processes, oversaw the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures for financial reporting and regulatory compliance, served as Valuation Committee chair, and lead the process for the firm to become GIPS compliant and verified. 

Ms. Vedra holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Denver, an M.S. in Statistics from the University of California, San Diego, and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Colorado. She is a CFA charterholder and an active member of both the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado, where she also serves on the board. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
